What Do You Think About Grammar?

Hmmmm,,, grammar is something common for me, because I've learnt it since many times ago. But why I still can't be expert it enough ?? I've thought about it many times and I've found the answer.
In my point of view, grammar is very unique. Actually grammar isn't really difficult, but we can't say it not important because it is not easy anyway. Maybe you'll confuse and say that I am not consistent. Let me explain why I said that.
Study is not enough. We should understand it. First, understand ourselves, why we should study it and what is the purpose.
WE have to study grammar because it is important to learn in order to make the others understand what we are talking about.. Because English is really different with Indonesia.
Grammar needs a deep understanding. Grammar is not something to remember but something to understand. Why? Because, if we remember it grammar will be easily to forget. But if we understand it, we'll remember it well. But that is still not enough. The last and the important key how to be expert in grammar is practice. Practice, practice and practice. Understanding without practice is nonsense, because practice makes perfect. The more we practice it, the more we understand it. We'll get more understanding from practice. We'll always remember it because we always practice it.
So, those are the uniquely of grammar. Study, understanding and practice are the great combination to be expert grammar.
