Menteng Park



Menteng Park is a stadium that originally became famous and now it is often visited by many people, including the film makers and advertising. This park is located between housing in Menteng, Jakarta.

What makes this park so attractive and different from other parks are in the presence of buildings made of transparent glass. This park has facilities which attract and rarely have by any other park. Park benches which are located in each corner is provided for visitors who want to release the tired and enjoy the beautiful garden. The path made of paving blocks and cement floor.

Here there are playground kids like swings, seesaw, slide, etc. Not far from there, there is sports area such as futsal, tennis, volleyball, badminton, and basketball. The structure in this park is quite interesting, coupled with the pond and fountain in the middle garden. Many bins are

Suropati Park


Suropati Park is one of the city park located in Jl. Imam Bonjol, Jakarta. This place is often visited by the people around or from other regions, especially on holidays and when the afternoon comes. Those who come to Suropati Park usually do the exercise such as jogging or even just sitting around and enjoy the beautiful garden. At night, Suropati Park usually becomes a place to gather for the young generation in Jakarta.

Here we can enjoy the cool air. In the middle of this garden, there is a fountain. In addition we also can see many birds there. If we are hungry, we can buy food or drinks from the traders around. There are ketoprak, siomay, mie ayam, bakso bakwan, coffee, tea sweet, milk, ice cream, etc. The price is cheap enough.
This place is very suitable to be your destination with friends or family who feel tired and bored with the hustle of Jakarta. For those of you who like photography, this place is good enough to be the object of your photo shoot. This place has also been used as a shooting location.

There is no fee to enjoy the beautiful collection of fountains and feel good atmosphere in this place, except for parking 

Long Journey to Cikelet



Cikelet is the name of small area in Garut. Who knows that the area which is just only recovered from the earthquake is very beautiful. Cikelet is located far from the center of the town, It takes ± 100 KM and needs around 4 hours to go there from the center of the town.


In the town, we can find a lot of stores that sell the typical food of Garut, called dodol. We will pass a lot of mounts when we go to Cikelet, such as; Mount Papandayan, Mount Cikuray, Dark Mount, Twins Mount, and many others. The name of Dark Mount is given bassed on the condition of the Mount. It is really dark, no lighting. When the sun went, the fog will go down and cover the way. It is dangerous to pass The Dark Mountain Around 07 p.m. until 02 a.m. There’s a story behind the stillness of The Dark Mountain. People say that in the past, the Dark Mountain is become the place to kill the people in the Orde Baru Era. We can also see the tea garden in our journey to Cikelet. As the others tea gorden, it is very beautiful. We can find the waterfall climb down the tea garden. It is amazing !


After a long journey, we will soon arrive at Cikelet. So many green rice fields there. Look so beautiful. There is also so many beautiful beaches, such as Karang Papak Beach. The beach is so clean and clear. The sand, the wave and the clear sky become a good combination and create a beautiful view there. It is very enjoyable after we faced the long journey.

The Jakarta Old Town



Jakarta Old Town (Kota Tua Jakarta) is a small area in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Jakarta Old Town is an area of Dutch colonization inheritance which was well-known as Batavia in the 17th century. At Kota Tua area you can see old buildings which the architecture style was influenced by the Dutch or European, Chinese and even some of them with combination of Dutch and Chinese.


Some of the old buildings at The Jakarta Old Town was changed as museums by the governor of DKI Jakarta. It is one of a very interesting place or area to visit when you travel to Jakarta, because you can find many places to visit, such as; Wayang Museum, Fatahillah Square, Fine Art and Ceramic Museum(Former Court of Justice of Batavia), Jakarta History Museum (Former City Hall of Batavia), Cafe Batavia, Toko Merah (Red Store), Chartered Bank, Bank Indonesia Museum, Bank Mandiri Museu, Jakarta Kota Station.


As recommendation, it’s better to visit The Jakarta Old in the morning. You can go around it before it’s too crowded and hot. You can go around it by using the bicycle ojek. Then you can visit the museum around the Jakarta Old building at noon.
